When the world stopped, we ensured romance didn’t
It's safe to say that without the pandemic, Glass House Country Weddings simply wouldn't exist, at least not in the form it does today.
With nearly a decade already spent in the wedding industry, we thought we understood what couples truly wanted. Then the world stopped and everything shifted.
During those uncertain months, we watched couple after couple forced to put their wedding days on hold - sitting, waiting, willing the world to approve their next chapter. As devoted romantics, that didn't sit right with us. Even in the darkest moments, love should always flourish.
What began as an intimate offering for an evolving market became something far greater, a new way of celebrating love stories entirely. We uncovered the quiet beauty of intentional weddings, where couples put their own desires first. Where instead of juggling family expectations, compromising on details and losing themselves in the overwhelm of planning, they could simply experience their perfect day.
Since then, we've continued to grow, nNow bringing over 14 years of expertise and hundreds of celebrations to every couple we work with. We've earned a reputation built on tranquillity, connection and the kind of intimacy that only the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and coast can offer.

Hi I'm Alicia, and if I'm honest, wedding planner doesn't quite capture what we do here at Glass House Country Weddings.
What we do goes deeper than planning. It's about connection, care and creating something that feels genuinely, beautifully yours.
With over 14 years in the wedding industry, ABIA recognition and hundreds of celebrations brought to life across QLD, I've built GHCW around a simple belief, that your wedding day should feel like the easiest, most magical decision you've ever made.
From the moment you enquire to the final farewell on your wedding day, you have me and your personally curated vendor team completely by your side. I like to think of myself as less your wedding planner and more your devoted planning companion and future friend, because I have a feeling we're going to have the best time making magic together.
When I'm not busy creating celebrations, you'll find me adventuring outdoors with my beautiful daughter, losing myself in a true crime podcast, line dancing or soaking up quality time with family and friends who mean the world to me.
