Let’s talk wedding day!
As hosts of your nearest and dearest witnessing one of the biggest moments of your life, ensuring your guests comfort for the entirety of your day is essential.
See our Top Ceremony Planning Tips below;
🤍Do a rehearsal of your timings down the aisle
🤍Organise a water station for guests
🤍Reserve the first few rows of seats for close family, grandparents etc
🤍Ensure there is shade close by
🤍Always have a back up of your music and ensure you have the appropriate connection types / adaptors for the PA Speaker if required
🤍 Organise a pre and post ceremony playlist to add to the atmosphere
🤍Have a wet weather back up and be prepared for this if it does rain
🤍Make sure there are restrooms within walking distance
🤍Consider whether guests with mobility issues will be able to access the site
🤍Chat to your celebrant about a plan to switch sides up the aisle if it is a windy day (because hair probs)
🤍Organise parasols for guests if it is hot and umbrellas in the case of rain
🤍Take a deep breathe before your ceremony, this is the build up, enjoy it and take it all in
🤍Have a back up plan in case your flower girl or page boy gets nervous and won’t down up the aisle. I recommend they walk with a bridesmaid or with each other if it doesn’t go to plan
🤍Get your MC or Celebrant to announce whether you are having an unplugged ceremony, if you have a wedding hash tag and where guests should go after the ceremony
🤍Post ceremony drinks and nibbles are optional depending on your venue and their restrictions however is a great way for guests to fill in the in-between time whilst you are off having your location photos taken
🤍 Organise a platter and beverage hamper to take with you during your photos for yourselves and your wedding party
Now you are all set to be the hostess with the mostess!
